Structural features and operating principle
1. The power supply circuitry comprises a main power supply circuit and a backup power supply circuit. When the main power is in operation, the backup system and battery are charged simultaneously. When the battery is fully charged, the charger automatically shifts to a float charging mode to counteract battery self-discharge, preserving battery capacity.
2. Upon detection of main power loss, the centralised power supply automatically initiates an emergency mode through software algorithms and logical assessments. When the main power resumes, the control system promptly reverts to normal operation. Faults are automatically reported to the emergency lighting controller, which logs them in a database for future reference and initiates audible alerts. In case of events requiring an emergency mode transition, the control system complies automatically. Moreover, the centralised power supply incorporates automated annual and monthly system checks.
3. The centralised power supply provides eight independent circuits for lighting fixtures, communicating with them via a two-wire protocol. Both the power supply and signals are polarity-free, and the system is equipped with automatic short-circuit protection, strong anti-interference capabilities, and easy installation.
Scope of Application
- Applicable to Zone 1 and Zone 2; Zone 21 and Zone 22.
- Applicable to lighting in hazardous environments such as petroleum extraction facilities, refineries, chemical plants, military installations or for emergency lighting in case of power failure.
